Help me give back.
If you are a campus that has a recovery program, I’ll donate part of the fee from my talk to support your program. How fun!
If you are a different group or a campus without a recovery program, part of your fee will go to one of these fabulous non-profit organizations that are doing great work.
Rams in Recovery - Virginia Commonwealth University's kickass collegiate recovery program.
The Healing Place - A unit of CARITAS which is dedicated to restoring human dignity by breaking cycles of homelessness and addiction. This private non-profit provides a long-term peer-driven residential recovery program for men (and soon women). It includes a workforce development program, a transitional sober living community and an active Alumni Association for lifelong sobriety.
Northstar Community - a group of people who have experienced addiction, abuse, trauma, mental illness, loss, and more — and provide outreach and support to others struggling with similar issues.
The JHW Foundation - a nonprofit aimed at raising awareness about substance use disorders in young adults and supporting young adults in recovery. Named in honor of John Henry Watkins, III, the foundation seeks to educate communities about addiction and support programs that promote opportunities for lasting recovery.
